Wake County appoints Jennifer Job to school board District 8 seat, effective immediately.
The Wake County school board appointed Jennifer Job of Raleigh as its new member for District 8, succeeding Lindsay Mahaffey, who resigned in August.
Job, a former teacher and education professor, will serve until December 2028.
