On Giving Tuesday, December 2, 2025, the Chattanooga Area Food Bank exceeded its $50,000 goal for the Share Your Christmas™ food drive, raising over $108,000 thanks to community donations and a $50,000 matching gift.
The funds will provide more than 270,000 meals across 20 counties.
The drive continues through December 12 with live broadcasts and multiple donation options.
The food bank reports record demand following the recent federal shutdown, which paused SNAP benefits and increased need, with November seeing its highest distribution and volunteer participation on record.
Leaders say demand remains high due to economic pressures and expect sustained need into early 2026.
