Christchurch’s new One NZ Stadium will host its first major concert on May 16, 2026, featuring a special collaboration between New Zealand bands Six60 and Synthony, along with performances by Kaylee Bell, Cassie Henderson, and Castaway. The event, part of the stadium’s official opening for live music, will take place in the 37,000-seat venue—the largest indoor music venue in New Zealand—and follows a Super Rugby Pacific “Super Round” starting April 24, 2026. The $683 million project faced delays and cost overruns after the 2010–11 earthquakes. Tickets go on sale December 11, 2025, at midday.
