Energy Share of Wyoming has opened its 34th annual energy assistance program on December 1, 2025, offering up to $500 in one-time aid for energy costs to eligible residents with income at or above 225% of the federal poverty level.
The program, funded by voluntary contributions, prioritizes seniors, people with disabilities, and those with no other resources.
In 2024–2025, it helped 236 households across 12 counties, distributing over $75,000.
Propane support is available through Rocky Mountain PERC.
Applications are accepted through local offices or online at energyshareofwyoming.org and are reviewed by The Salvation Army and partner centers based on need and funding.
Tax-deductible donations are welcome via utility billing statements or mail.
