Winnipeg Transit extends late-night service to 10 zones and adds weekday hours and school trips starting Dec. 14.
Winnipeg Transit is launching its winter schedule on December 14 with extended late-night service in 10 on-request zones, operating until around 2 a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, and 12:45 a.m. on Sundays and holidays.
Zone 103’s coverage expands to include Garden City Shopping Centre and Walmart.
New schedules for routes D12, D13, D16, and F8 add 49 weekday service hours.
Additional trips are being added to six school routes to ease crowding, including extra morning and afternoon service on several routes.
Daytime-only zones remain unchanged.
The updates follow public feedback on the city’s new primary transit network.
