The U.S. House passed a bill banning entry to those linked to Hamas’s Oct. 7 attack on Israel.
The U.S. House unanimously passed the "No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act of 2025," banning entry to individuals linked to Hamas’s October 7, 2023, attack on Israel.
The bill, introduced by Rep. Tom McClintock (R-CA), would exclude those who participated in, supported, or were affiliated with the assault, including members of Hamas and Islamic Jihad.
While Democrats backed the intent, they opposed amending immigration law to explicitly list terror acts as grounds for exclusion, noting such individuals are already barred.
The bill now moves to the Senate, where an earlier version stalled.
