Seventy-one Bahamians graduated from the Public Hospitals Authority Academy in November 2025, including nurses, pharmacy technicians, emergency medical technicians, and medical billing specialists.
The ceremony, attended by Prime Minister Philip Davis and Health Minister Dr. Michael Darville, marked a key step in strengthening the nation’s healthcare workforce.
The government fully funded all training, with over 160 Bahamians—many from the Family Islands—trained through the program.
Davis praised graduates for their role in improving public health and urged them to lead with compassion and continuous learning, highlighting new training initiatives in renal nursing and surgical technology.
