Nigeria's economy expanded by 3.98% in real terms during the third quarter of 2025, up from 3.86% in the same period last year, driven by growth in services and industry, particularly the non-oil sector which rose 3.91%.
The oil sector grew 5.84% year-on-year with production averaging 1.64 million barrels per day, while nominal GDP reached N113.58 trillion, an 18.12% increase from Q3 2024.
The National Bureau of Statistics attributed the figures to a rebased 2019 GDP calculation.
