The International Criminal Court has taken Khaled Mohamed Ali El Hishri into custody in The Hague after his arrest in Germany in July 2025.
He faces charges of war crimes and crimes against humanity, including murder, torture, rape, and sexual violence, allegedly committed during his time as a senior official at Mitiga Prison in Libya from 2015 to 2020.
