Cornwall opens $28.8M net zero admin and garage building, completing a 2016 redevelopment project.
The City of Cornwall officially opened its new net zero administration building and multi-use garage on November 28, 2025, completing a major phase of a redevelopment project started in 2016.
The $28.8 million facility, built by Robert J. Bourgon Construction, includes a 2,787-square-meter garage with heavy-duty lifting equipment, improved ventilation, and a garage pit, along with a 1,200-square-meter administration building.
The project, now budgeted at $43 million, was driven by the need to replace aging infrastructure.
While city officials praised the upgrade for enhancing safety and efficiency, no council members attended the ribbon-cutting, and details on staff transitions or remaining work were not provided.
