Surveillance footage showed a verbal altercation and a group of four returning to the scene. The victim walked to a bystander for help before being rushed to a hospital and pronounced dead. No arrests have been made, and authorities have not confirmed a motive or the suspect’s identity. The LAPD is urging the public to report any information. Separately, a man in his 30s was shot in Boyle Heights early Sunday morning and remains in stable condition.
