Lily Bone, a 20-year-old lock from Orange, has been named in Australia’s Wallaroos national contracted squad for 2026 after a standout 2025 season featuring her Super Rugby Women’s debut with the ACT Brumbies and appearances with Australia A. She is one of four uncapped players selected, recognized for her potential during Wallaroos training camps. Fellow Orange athlete Tabua Tuinakauvadra was named Wallaroos player of the year and also committed to the national team for 2026. In boxing, 22-year-old Coen Naden returned from an 18-month break, competing at the 2025 national titles on the Gold Coast, losing to champion Jackson Thomas but praising the growth gained. He plans to fight for a state title on December 6 and aims for international amateur competition and a professional career. Billy Littlefield from Orange was named best male boxer.
