Blue Cross urges Christmas adoptions for homeless pets, highlighting two cats in need and launching a fund drive for emergency care.
Blue Cross in Ramsbottom is urging the public to adopt homeless pets this Christmas, highlighting Ripley, a 9-year-old tabby cat in foster care for over 130 days, and Zelda, a 15-year-old cat seeking a rural home.
The charity, active since 1897, reports increasing numbers of animals in need and has launched its Critical First Night Christmas appeal to raise funds for emergency care, including pain relief, antibiotics, blankets, and food.
Donations of £10, £20, or £30 support vital rehoming and veterinary services.
