Azerbaijan allocates $1.18 million to repair a highway serving 8,000 people, per President Aliyev’s January 2025 order.
Azerbaijan has allocated 2 million manat ($1.18 million) from its 2025 state budget for the major repair of the Zardab–Malikumudlu–Challi–Salahli–Huseynkhanli–Khanmammadli highway, as ordered by President Ilham Aliyev on January 10, 2025.
The funds, designated under state capital investment guidelines, will support infrastructure improvements on a road serving five residential areas with roughly 8,000 people.
The State Agency of Azerbaijan Automobile Roads will oversee the project, with the Ministry of Finance ensuring funding and the Ministry of Economy including necessary funds in the draft 2026 budget.
The Cabinet of Ministers will address implementation challenges.
The repair aims to enhance regional connectivity and support economic development.
