ADES Holding’s Shelf Drilling won a $63 million contract to plug and abandon wells offshore Brunei, starting in Q4 2026.
ADES Holding, via its subsidiary Shelf Drilling, has won a $63 million, two-year contract from Brunei Shell Petroleum to use the Compact Driller jack-up rig for plug and abandonment work offshore Brunei.
The rig, currently in India until May 2026, will be readied in Singapore and begin operations in Q4 2026.
This marks ADES’s first major contract since acquiring Shelf Drilling and highlights the company’s expanding presence in Southeast Asia, leveraging Shelf Drilling’s safety record and P&A expertise in the region.
