A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after a pickup truck collided with a plow on I-96 during a winter storm.

A 36-year-old Coopersville woman was hospitalized with serious injuries after a pickup truck she was riding in collided with an Ottawa County plow truck on eastbound I-96 near 24th Avenue in Wright Township on Saturday, Nov. 29, 2025, around 11:15 a.m. The 37-year-old pickup driver attempted to pass the plow, clipped its side, and veered into median guard wires. The woman was taken to a local hospital in serious but stable condition; both drivers were uninjured. Eastbound I-96 was closed temporarily as investigators examined the scene, and the cause of the crash remains under review. The incident occurred during a winter storm warning in West Michigan.
