Troy football defeated Southern Miss 28-18 in the Sun Belt Conference regular-season finale, securing a spot in the Sun Belt Championship game. Quarterback Goose Crowder threw three touchdown passes, including a 75-yard strike to RaRa Thomas late in the game, and finished with 285 yards on 24-of-34 passing. Tae Meadows rushed for 94 yards and a touchdown.
