Türkiye’s Bayraktar Kizilelma, the country’s first unmanned fighter jet, successfully fired a beyond-visual-range air-to-air missile at a jet-powered target over the Black Sea on November 30, 2025—the first time a drone has achieved this globally. The test off Sinop involved five F-16s, a domestically developed Gökdoğan missile, and guidance via ASELSAN’s MURAD AESA radar, showcasing Türkiye’s advancements in sensor fusion, flight control, and manned-unmanned teaming.
