Rapper Aitch climbed Kilimanjaro to raise Down syndrome awareness, inspired by his sister and advocating for better treatment of people with the condition.
Rapper Aitch, known from I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, revealed he filmed a documentary chronicling his seven-day climb of Mount Kilimanjaro, describing the trek as extremely challenging and emotionally intense, with freezing temperatures and altitude sickness.
The expedition, which aimed to raise awareness for Down syndrome, was inspired by his sister Gracie, who has the condition and admired model Ellie Goldstein, the first person with Down syndrome on Strictly Come Dancing.
Aitch praised people with Down syndrome as "the best people in the world" and criticized societal treatment of them.
He also shared updates from the reality show, where he was replaced as camp leader, and highlighted fellow contestant Vogue Williams’ successful completion of a difficult Bushtucker trial.
