A homicide investigation is underway in St. Lucie County after a man with multiple gunshot wounds was found dead in a fire-damaged home on Friday, November 28, 2025, in the 600 block of S. Market Avenue near Fort Pierce. Responding deputies and firefighters arrived around 8:10 p.m. and discovered the body after extinguishing the blaze. Authorities confirmed the victim sustained gunshot wounds and other injuries, with the cause still under investigation.
