A 65-year-old man died in a head-on crash on Tasmania’s Tasman Highway near Triabunna on November 30, 2025, after colliding with a utility vehicle. The motorcyclist, riding a Harley Davidson southbound, sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. The 55-year-old woman driving the other vehicle suffered minor injuries. This follows a separate crash the previous evening in Mowbray that killed a 23-year-old motorcyclist. Tasmania has seen a rise in road fatalities, with 40 deaths reported in the 12 months through November 18, up from 26 during the same period last year. Authorities are seeking information and dash cam footage from both incidents.
