Iranian hackers claim to have targeted an Israeli nuclear scientist, posting threats and personal data online.
An Iranian hacker group called Handala claims to have infiltrated the car of Israeli nuclear scientist Dr. Isaac Gertz, leaving a bouquet of flowers and threatening him via social media.
The group, linked to past cyberattacks on Israeli military and intelligence networks, posted photos and a video of the act, shared personal data including addresses and resumes, and offered a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of Unit 8200 cyber unit members.
The breach coincides with the anniversary of the assassination of Iranian scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, and the group warned of further actions.
