ED seizes luxury cars in Pune raids over SBI loan fraud involving forged docs and collusion.

The Enforcement Directorate seized luxury vehicles including BMWs, Mercedes-Benz, and Land Rovers in Pune during raids linked to a major SBI car loan fraud. The operation, targeting borrowers and dealers, uncovered forged documents used to inflate loan values between 2017 and 2019. Former SBI branch manager Amar Kulkarni and loan counselor Aditya Sethia are alleged to have colluded to approve fraudulent loans, enabling borrowers to obtain high-end vehicles beyond their eligibility. The ED, acting under the PMLA, recovered incriminating paperwork and assets, continuing a probe initiated by the CBI, ACB, and Pune police.
