Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese married partner Jodie Haydon in a private ceremony at The Lodge in Canberra, becoming the first sitting PM to marry while in office. The Saturday event, attended by about 60 family and close friends including senior Labor figures, featured self-written vows, music by Ben Folds and Stevie Wonder, and a first dance to Frank Sinatra. Haydon wore a custom dress by Romance Was Born, Albanese a suit by MJ Bale, and their dog Toto served as ring bearer. The couple, engaged since February 2024, will begin a five-day honeymoon within Australia.
