Andhra Pradesh Minister Nara Lokesh announced rapid progress on Amaravati’s underground power infrastructure, with high-tension cables being laid to boost safety and reliability.
The development is part of a larger push to transform the capital into a modern, sustainable, and globally competitive city.
Since May 2024, the state has launched projects worth Rs 56,000 crore, with plans to complete all capital development by March 2028.
Key advancements include the Seed Access Road, highway connections, a railway line, and expanded land pooling, increasing Amaravati’s area to 50,000 acres to accommodate an international airport and other major projects.
