Punjab captain Abhishek Sharma smashed a 32-ball century against Bengal in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, scoring 148 off 52 balls with 11 sixes and seven fours. His 12-ball fifty tied for the joint third-fastest in T20 history and matched the second-fastest century by an Indian. Opening with Prabhsimran Singh, who scored 70, they set a new SMAT record with a 205-run opening stand. Punjab posted 310/5, the second-highest total in tournament history, at Hyderabad’s Gymkhana Ground on November 30, 2025.
