Over 500 cricketers from Uttar Pradesh took part in Dream League of India’s Lucknow trials on November 27–28, held at the Yorker Cricket Club, marking a key step in the league’s expansion. The event featured players aged 13 to 18 and over 18, with nearly 60% specializing in bowling, reflecting a strong regional emphasis on the skill. DLI, India’s largest tennis ball cricket platform, continues to grow, having held successful trials in multiple cities including Delhi, Gurugram, and Mohali. Former cricketer Chetanya Nanda and actor Sonu Sood, the league’s commissioner, praised the players’ talent and dedication, while officials highlighted the need for corporate backing to support grassroots development.
