Sumrall, a former Troy coach with two Sun Belt titles, is expected to decide by Sunday whether to stay at Tulane or accept an offer from Florida or Auburn. Florida, which finished 3-8 and fired Billy Napier, is also considering Jeff Brohm and Jedd Fisch.
