A Delhi court has granted bail to three women accused in a sexual assault case involving Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, who remains in custody over allegations of molesting 16 students at a private institute. The accused, charged without arrest, must each post a bail bond of ₹20,000. The case, based on a 1,077-page charge sheet naming 43 witnesses, is being prosecuted under the Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita. Saraswati, appearing via video from Tihar Jail, alleged mistreatment by police and cited his age and religious identity. A separate production warrant has been issued for him in a cheating case, requiring his appearance on December 2. The matter is set for further hearing on December 1.
