Cambodia and New Zealand agreed to strengthen bilateral ties, expanding cooperation in trade, investment, education, agriculture, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges during a meeting in Phnom Penh between Prime Minister Hun Manet and New Zealand’s Foreign Minister Winston Peters.
The visit, part of Peters’ two-day trip, highlighted mutual support for regional partnerships, including the new ASEAN-New Zealand Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, and reaffirmed long-standing collaboration on peace and development since the 1990s.
