Temasek Holdings has appointed former DBS Group CEO Piyush Gupta as non-executive chairman for India, effective December 1, 2025.
In the advisory role, Gupta will work with Ravi Lambah to guide investment strategies, support portfolio companies, and strengthen ties with Indian government and business leaders.
Gupta, 65, led DBS’s digital transformation and regional expansion and brings extensive financial services experience and regional networks.
Temasek, which manages a $334.75 billion portfolio, is expanding its presence in India, with plans to invest up to $10 billion over three years in sectors like financial services and healthcare.
