Ratan Tata’s Seychelles villa, valued at $6.2M, is up for sale post-death; proceeds to fund his foundation, with no deal yet finalized.
Ratan Tata’s beachfront villa on Mahe, Seychelles, is being sold following his death, with proceeds to be split between the Ratan Tata Endowment Foundation and Trust per a June 2025 court order.
Valued at about Rs 85 lakh by independent assessors, the property has drawn interest from C Sivasankaran, former Aircel founder, and associates, who reportedly offered $6.2 million (Rs 55 crore).
Sivasankaran confirmed interest but denied a confirmed sale.
The transaction remains unfinalized, with no official agreement reached.
The villa was bequeathed to RNT Associates, a Singapore-based fund linked to Tata.
