The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority has received proposed adjustments from oil companies, and the Ministry of Finance will announce final rates by November 30 after consulting with the Prime Minister.
Expected reductions include Rs3.75 for petrol, Rs6.10 for high-speed diesel, and Rs6.35 for light diesel oil.
A separate government levy of Rs8 per litre on petrol and Rs7 on diesel remains in place to fund road projects.
