The 2025 National Senior Certificate exams concluded nationwide without major disruptions, with marking beginning 1 December and finishing by 18 December. Over 52,000 markers assessed scripts, supported by Umalusi’s quality assurance, including review of paper difficulty amid concerns about Mathematics Paper 2. Results will be released on 12 January 2026, with individual results available 13 January via the DBE website or schools. Candidates have until 20 February 2026 to report errors, and a 30-day window for mark queries opens 13 January, including re-marking, re-checking, and script viewing. Outcomes will be available from 13 March 2026.
