Litchfield Minerals hit high-grade copper-zinc mineralization in a new drill hole at its Oonagalabi project in Australia’s Northern Territory.
Litchfield Minerals is advancing its Oonagalabi copper-zinc project in Australia’s Northern Territory with a new FLEM survey targeting the VT1 conductor. Following a successful drill program, a single hole at VT1 returned a 104-meter intercept with high-grade copper-sulphide mineralisation, including 1.37% copper equivalent. Subsequent assays confirmed 91 meters of mineralisation grading 0.9% copper, 1.3% zinc, and trace precious metals. Rock chip samples showed elevated silver, gold, and tellurium, hinting at a deep-seated orebody. Down-hole EM surveys identified at least six folded mineralised plates over 400 meters. 3D magnetic inversion suggests a deep, intrusion-related system. VT1 lies 5.4 km from VT2, where recent drilling returned 168 meters of sulphides. The company plans a major drilling campaign in early 2026, with further surveys targeting VT2 and the Bomb-Diggity cluster.
