Ghanaian pastor charged over inflammatory livestream remarks against doctor, granted bail.
Pastor Emmanuel Appiah, leader of the Emmanuel Army Church, appeared in Accra Circuit Court on charges of offensive social media conduct and spreading false information after making inflammatory remarks against Dr. Isaac Owusu Bempah during a September 4, 2025, livestream.
The video, shared widely on YouTube via "SourcetubeTv," was alleged to incite fear and disrupt public order.
Forensic evidence, including transcribed audio and video recordings, was presented.
Appiah was granted bail of GH₵100,000 with three sureties, and the prosecution must file disclosures.
