Canada recalls Celebration Herbals Senna Leaf Tea over Salmonella risk; no illnesses reported.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA) has recalled Celebration Herbals brand Senna Leaf Herbal Tea due to possible Salmonella contamination.
The product, sold in 24-tea bag packages with UPC 6 28240 20182 9 and lot code 251004, was distributed in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Ontario, and online.
No illnesses have been reported.
Consumers are advised not to consume, sell, or distribute the tea.
Salmonella can cause fever, diarrhea, vomiting, and stomach cramps, with higher risks for young children, pregnant women, older adults, and those with weakened immune systems.
The CFIA is investigating, and further recalls may follow.
