Nigeria has welcomed its first official delegation from St. Kitts and Nevis following a new visa-free agreement, making St. Kitts and Nevis the first non-African, non-ECOWAS country to gain unrestricted access to Nigeria.
The 20-member delegation, led by Agriculture Minister Samal Mojah Duggins, held meetings with Nigerian officials and private sector leaders to boost ties in agribusiness, technology, and creative industries.
The agreement, facilitated by Nigerian business leader Aisha Maina during the Afri-Caribbean Investment Summit (AACIS ’25), aims to strengthen diplomatic, economic, and cultural cooperation.
Both nations plan expanded collaboration, including future events like AACIS ’26 in Abuja, underscoring growing South-South ties and Nigeria’s role as Africa’s economic gateway.
