Saskatoon man Jason Pacik arrested on fraud charges for scamming customers of his failed timber company.
Saskatoon RCMP have arrested 42-year-old Jason Pacik on fraud charges related to his now-defunct company, Prairie Timber Group Limited.
Authorities allege he falsely claimed ties to a reputable Ontario timber home builder, collected payments for custom homes, and failed to complete the work.
He faces two fraud charges, one over and one under $5,000.
Pacik was taken into custody on November 26, 2025, and is scheduled for court on January 21, 2026.
Police believe more victims may exist and are seeking public assistance to locate him.
The case is part of a broader rise in financial fraud in northern Saskatchewan.
