Cracroft Reserve in Christchurch has been selected as the preferred site for New Zealand’s National Erebus Memorial, honoring the 257 victims of the 1979 Air New Zealand flight crash.
The Ministry for Culture and Heritage chose the location after a two-year review of 50 sites, citing its scenic views, accessibility, and tranquility.
