Carcetti Capital Corp. has completed its acquisition of the Hemlo Gold Mine in Ontario from Barrick Mining, forming a new mid-tier Canadian gold producer.
The reverse takeover on the TSXV involved issuing 34.6 million shares and up to $165 million in gold-linked payments over five years.
Financing totaled about $1 billion, including a $300 million deal with Wheaton Precious Metals, $250 million in bank loans, and a $542 million private placement.
The company will rebrand as Hemlo Mining Corp. and begin trading on the TSXV under the symbol HMMC on December 2, 2025, following expected approval by November 28.
