Canadian agents seized 204.5 kg of cocaine in Vancouver from a Panama-bound ship, part of broader border security efforts.
On September 3, 2025, Canada Border Services Agency agents in Vancouver seized 204.5 kilograms of cocaine hidden in containers labeled as red liquid paint pigment aboard a ship from Panama.
The drugs, detected with the help of drug-sniffing dogs, were part of a larger operation that also intercepted 560 kilograms of cocaine and methamphetamine in cargo bound for Australia.
Both seizures highlight intensified border security efforts, with the cocaine from the ship handed to the RCMP for further investigation.
