BMW ends Z4 production in 2026 with a limited Final Edition, no successor confirmed.
The BMW Z4 Final Edition has been unveiled, signaling the end of the current-generation Z4's production in March 2026 after nearly eight years, following the discontinuation of the shared-platform Toyota Supra.
Available starting January 2026 on M Sport-equipped models with four- or six-cylinder engines, it features exclusive Frozen Matt black paint, red brake calipers, Shadowline trim, and red interior stitching.
Priced at €4,200 extra, it is not available in Australia.
BMW has not confirmed a successor, but Toyota may launch a new Supra by 2027 with a hybrid powertrain exceeding 320kW, and plans to revive the Celica nameplate and unveil a new GR GT sports car with a hybrid V8 in late 2025.
