A Bathurst woman pleaded guilty on November 14, 2025, to breaching an Apprehended Domestic Violence Order (ADVO) valid until March 2027, after texting her former partner despite the no-contact rule.
The breach began on September 21 when she engaged with him after he traveled from Orange to Blayney to assist with parenting, sparking an argument over suspected drug use and leading to a physical altercation.
Police responded around 1 a.m., and she later allowed him back into her home, prompting a second call.
Both parties have cross-ADVOs.
The woman, previously on a community correction order for a similar offense, was fined $500 and given another 18-month order, with Magistrate Gemma Slack-Smith warning of potential jail time for further violations.
