The Minnesota State Capitol has installed its first Christmas tree sourced from Turcks Trees, a local family-owned farm in Spring Valley.
The 22-foot balsam fir was harvested from the farm’s sustainable operation and erected in the Capitol rotunda on November 24, 2025.
This marks the first time the state has used a tree from Turcks Trees, chosen for its environmental stewardship and community ties.
The tree will remain on display through the holiday season.
