A Fredericton man has been sentenced to five years in prison after pleading guilty to child pornography and luring charges involving minors he believed were under 18 and under 16. The case began in July 2024 following a tip from the National Child Exploitation Crime Centre, leading to a February 2025 arrest and seizure of electronic devices. The RCMP’s Internet Child Exploitation Unit, with support from the Kennebecasis Regional Police Force and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, led the investigation.
