Cosmic PV Power Ltd, an Indian solar manufacturer, has entered the Independent Power Producer market by securing a INR 600 crore solar module order from Zetwerk, marking a strategic shift from its prior focus on EPC players and OEMs. The company has begun dispatching modules and expects more large-scale deals, signaling growth. It has scaled from 200 MW to a 3 GW gigafactory in two years, with 1.3 GW on India’s ALMM list. The firm acquired 60 acres in Madhya Pradesh for a 4 GW solar cell line and signed an MoU with Indygreen Technologies to build a 2 GW battery facility by March 2026. These moves support India’s renewable energy and net-zero goals.
