Qiviuk Boutique at New York City’s Plaza Hotel is hosting a Kevin McCallister lookalike contest for children 12 and under through December 1, celebrating the filming of "Home Alone 2: Lost in New York" at the hotel. Kids can register in person, try on replica blue pom-pom and red moose hats, and pose in character. Five finalists will receive hand-knitted llama-fiber hats worth $129, and the grand prize winner will get a “Home Alone: Fun in New York” package, including a hotel stay and a 16-scoop ice cream sundae, to be redeemed after the holidays. The event, part of a holiday-themed collection, honors the hotel’s cinematic history and aims to create lasting family memories.
