Lang Ping and Raul de Jesus Trujillo Diaz won IOC lifetime coaching awards for their historic Olympic achievements.

The International Olympic Committee awarded its 2025 Coaches Lifetime Achievement Awards to Chinese volleyball coach Lang Ping and Cuban wrestling coach Raul de Jesus Trujillo Diaz in Lausanne, Switzerland. Presented by IOC President Kirsty Coventry and Sergii Bubka, the honors recognized their decades of impact, with Lang Ping becoming the first to win Olympic volleyball gold as both player and coach, leading China to gold at Rio 2016 and earning two silvers with China and the U.S. Trujillo Diaz, with a 52-year career, guided Mijain Lopez Nunez to five consecutive Olympic wrestling golds, a first in Olympic history. Both were selected from a record 152 nominations, reflecting global acclaim for their lasting influence.
