Carroll College appoints Dr. Jennifer Glowienka as its first female president, effective July 2026.

Carroll College in Helena, Montana, has named Dr. Jennifer Glowienka as its 20th president and first woman to lead the 116-year-old Catholic institution. She will assume full duties on July 1, 2026, after serving as interim co-president since July 2025. Glowienka, a biology professor since 2003, has held multiple academic and administrative roles, including senior vice president for academic affairs. Her appointment follows the departure of Dr. William Rudd, who stepped down before his inauguration. She has helped secure $1.5 million in research grants and is known for her inclusive leadership. The college, with nearly 1,135 students, is expanding online and hybrid learning.
